Sudden extra shedding
Two to three months after stress, illness or surgery.
A heavy period at work, a loss, illness or a crash diet: two to three months later your hair can suddenly shed much more. This is called telogen effluvium and is often temporary. At NASU we tackle it two ways: we care for your scalp and we calm your nervous system.

★★★★★This was an incredible experience. The scalp analysis was detailed and informative, and within 15 minutes I felt completely understood and well advised. The treatment itself was deeply relaxing and absolutely worth it. Without a doubt, one of the best self-care experiences in Brussels.

★★★★★My very sensitive scalp and limp, dull hair are in so much better condition still, a week later! Great place!

Yes. After a tough period many hairs can enter the resting phase at once and fall out two to three months later. This is called telogen effluvium and usually recovers by itself.
With stress-related shedding, hair usually recovers within a few months once the cause has passed. A healthy scalp helps.
For deep relaxation we recommend the Japanese Head Spa or the Deluxe; with clear hair loss, the Head Spa for Hair Loss.
Every two to three weeks for a few months gives the best result.
